Dearest Friends, Enemies, and Lovers:

First off, HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!!

I will be joining the ever so entertaining group El Rick Haun tonight at the End, in Nashville, the band goes on at 10:30. The group's newest album features a lovely duet with Travis Nicholson, aka El Rick Haun, and the ever so lovely Lisa Loeb. As Lisa, can't make it to the show, I will attempt to fill her "Little Buckled Shoes." For more info on El Rick Haun, visit the group's myspace site, or google them, they have had tons of write ups and reviews in various city papers.

It's been a while since I sent out any updates, and there is lots of news to report. ROSEMARY was featured in a documentary entitled "the Dialogue Project." The documentary featured the track "Heavy Hand." For those of you who would like more info, you can go to the Dialogue Project's website, and you can click here to buy the DVD.

Also, the official rehearsals have begun, for this Summer's tour. As of now the line up consists of myself, Patrick Himes (the one, the only, aka Patty Korgan), Josh Guntel (of Andy Bodean and the Bottom Boys, TC & S, and the Cable Co.), Brian Hoeflich (of Flyaway Minion and the All-nighters), Brian Greaney (of Flyaway Minion, the Bi-Polar Ignition, and e-banditos), and finally Steve Jones (of Dr. Dook and the Cable Co.). We also have a stellar line up of back up musicians in case one of the boys is unable to make it. So, have no fear, we are working the tunes up in hopes of bringing them to your city this Summer!

Oh and I have thrown my vocals on a couple of new albums due out:

Dennis Shepherd Group's track "Pop Filter"
Jordan Hull's track "Better With You"
the Future Laureates' "Halfway Home"

And you can go to the myspace page and take a listen to "Little Boxes- synthelicious v.1," the Showtime Original Series WEEDS theme song, cut by yours truly.

And now the WaterWorks news....

As many of you know, Patrick and I have finally opened our studio. This has been a dream of ours for a few years now, and we have been trying to amass gear for the last 5 years. With that said, we are proud to announce that WaterWorks Entertainment is open for business! We are conveniently located in East Nashville, and have so much gear, we can't even mention it all here, so if you are a "gear slut," like us, you can go and check it all out here. We have both digital (Pro Tools) and analog tape (MCI JH-24 2") capabilities, and we offer the best rates in town... if you find another studio with similar gear in Nashville, we can beat their price!

And, WWE is not only a studio but a publishing company. Our roster includes many, many great bands and artists. Notably, Shrug, who just taped a television performance for Chicago Produced "Chic-a-go-go." When we have more details on the air date, I will get them to you. We are also proud to welcome the Dennis Shepherd Group as our newest addition to the WWE family. The DSG have a new site and some rough mixes of the new album they are cutting over at WWE studios available on their myspace page. So without further ado, the current WWE publishing line up:

the American Static
Dennis Shepherd Group
e-banditos
Flyaway Minion
ROSEMARY
Shrug
Josh Guntel
(Staff Writer- Andy Bodean and the Bottom Boys, Communist, Ultra Vulgar, the Cable Co., C.B. Tucker Band, Tim Chad and Sherry, and some others I probably forgot).

And over the last 2 or 3 months, Patrick and I have had the wonderful opportunity of engineering and producing some of the talent below:

Altered Statesman
Guy Farmer
Leslie Keffer
Kenny Harlan
Frank Schaap

the Future Laureates (who have a new album coming out VERY soon)
Jordan Hull (who just released his first record, self titled.)

So go and check out some of these artists' links, and you can buy your very own copy of the WWE sampler, vol. 1 , featuring many of these great artists, later this summer. And, drop by our official WaterWorks Entertainment site, but take heed it is still being tweaked as it takes a little while to load (so if you are on dial up, stay away for now).

I think I remembered everything....
